Mabel's Labels

Support our school while getting organized! We have an open campaign with Mabel's Labels as a fundraising initiative. Perfect for labeling your kids' belongings, Mabel's Labels offers durable, personalized products that are both practical and fun. A portion of all sales will go directly to our school, so it’s a win-win!

To order, simply visit Mabel's Labels Support a Fundraiser page and type in Haultain Memorial School, choose your favorite labels, and check out. It's quick, easy, and supports a great cause. All funds raised will support school activities and filed trips!

Volunteering at Haultain Memorial

We welcome family and community volunteers at our school. To volunteer, two separate requirements must be completed.

  1. Security Clearance: Required every five years

All adult volunteers must have a valid CBE initiated security clearance before volunteering. A police clearance obtained through another organization is not transferable to CBE. The clearance must be initiated through CBE and is valid for five years.

  1. Annual Volunteer Registration: Required every school year

Everyone, including returning volunteers, must complete the CBE Annual Volunteer Registration Form each school year. This confirms that you have reviewed and agreed to CBE requirements, including privacy and confidentiality expectations.

Parents and guardians with a child registered at CBE can complete the annual registration form online through the SchoolEngage tab in their MyCBE account. Community members who do not have a child registered with CBE must complete the form in person at the school.

For more information, visit the CBE Volunteer page

In short:

  • Security clearance: CBE initiated and required every five years.
  • Annual registration form: Required every school year.

Both must be current before participating in volunteer activities.

Please Keep Dogs Off School Grounds

No Dogs

Please help us keep our children safe and our playgrounds clean and sanitary by keeping dogs outside of school grounds when picking up or dropping off your children.

Dogs are not permitted on school grounds or playgrounds. This is both a Calgary Board of Education requirement and a City of Calgary bylaw requirement.

Under Section 13(1)(a) of the City of Calgary Responsible Pet Ownership Bylaw 47M2021, dog owners must ensure that their dogs do not enter or remain on a school ground or playground.

  • 6:30 PM – Session 1
  • 6:45 PM – Session 2
IPP Touch-Base Meetings
  • Teachers will contact families of students with IPPs to arrange a meeting later this month.
Calgary Public Library Book Truck
  • Stop by and explore the Book Truck.
YYC Afterschool Club
  • The YYC Afterschool Club team will be onsite for sign-ups and to answer questions.

Lunchroom

All students may stay at school over the lunch break to eat their lunch and have an active living break. Once the system has been updated, you will be able to register and pay for the lunchroom program via your myCBE Account.

Please note, we are operating under the assumption that all students will be staying for lunch. If your child will be going home for lunch, please let the school know so we do not include them on our lunchroom attendance lists.
