Video Surveillance Technology Installation

The CBE will be installing video surveillance technology at Haultain Memorial School this school year. Parents and guardians are invited to attend our School Council meeting on October 26 to learn more and ask questions. We hope you can join us.

Student Code of Conduct

We invite families to take a few minutes to look over the CBE’s Student Code of Conduct. It helps everyone understand how we can work together to create a safe, caring, and respectful school community. Our teachers have been exploring these ideas with students, using age-appropriate language and real-life examples to help them see how they can contribute to a positive school environment.

Fostering Safe and Respectful School Communities

Safe, caring and respectful school communities are a shared responsibility, with each of us playing an important role in creating positive environments for students, staff and families. Learn more about how the CBE is reinforcing expectations for respectful conduct and the steps we are taking to support safe and welcoming schools.

Pumpkinella + Halloween Dress Up | October 30, 2026

Get creative for Pumpkinella on October 30! Families are invited to bring a decorated pumpkin to the Learning Commons between 8:45 and 9:00 a.m. for our pumpkin showcase. Whether silly, spooky or imaginative, we look forward to seeing your family’s creations! Please use battery-operated lights only. No real candles.

Students are also invited to wear their Halloween costumes to school that day. Please choose costumes suitable for an elementary school, avoiding excessive gore, frightening images or costumes that stereotype cultures or identities. Leave masks and weapon accessories at home, and ensure students can move safely and participate in learning.

We look forward to seeing your creative pumpkins and costumes!
