Family Literacy Week is Here
From January 27 to February 2, families across Alberta are celebrating the joy of reading, learning, and spending time together. At Haultain Memorial School, we know that even a few minutes of shared reading each day strengthens connection, builds skills, and nurtures a lifelong love of learning. We invite your family to join in. Read together, tell stories, play word games, or explore new books from our ever-growing library collection.
The CBE Literacy & Early Learning Teams have shared a collection of ideas and resources that support key areas of literacy development. These easy, low-prep activities can be used at home or at school to help children build confidence and joy in reading, writing, and language learning.
