Clubs
We are excited to share that students will have the opportunity to participate in whole school clubs again this year! As part of our learning, clubs will be held during school hours in 45-minute blocks. Students will explore various activities including coding, art, basketball and acts of service in the community. During club time, students in Grades 1 to Grade 6 will be reassigned to a teacher in the school where they will engage in learning on a topic of interest (Kindergarten students will participate in the second round of clubs). This whole school community building event was designed by staff to strengthen relationships and increase students’ sense of belonging at school. On Club days, students are invited to wear their HMS t-shirt, or any blue shirt, to show their school spirit.
Haultain Memorial School Parents’ Association Fundraising
Haultain Memorial School Parents’ Association would like to thank everyone who participated in the WestJet Raffle. Congratulations go out to Sylvia J. who is the big winner of the roundtrip flight for two guests to any regularly scheduled and marketed WestJet destination! Proceeds from this raffle will help support student learning at our school through activities such as Artists in Residence, Classroom enhancements, Indigenous Knowledge Keeper presentations, and more. Check out our Fundraising page for a photo of the winner and other fundraising opportunities at our school.
