Get Ready for World Book Day on April 23, 2025

World Book Day is just around the corner, and we’re celebrating in style on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. Students are invited to come to school dressed as their favorite book characters—from wizards to detectives to magical creatures.

Throughout the day, we’ll be taking part in two special “Drop Everything and Read” sessions, giving everyone a chance to pause and enjoy a good book together.

One of the highlights of the day will be our fun and creative "Decorate a Potato" competition! Students are invited decorate a potato at home to look like a character from a book and bring it to school. All the potato characters will be displayed, and students will have the chance to visit and vote for their favorite.

It’s going to be a day full of imagination, creativity, and, of course, reading. We can’t wait to see the characters—and the potatoes—you bring to life!

Help Us Celebrate World Wish Day – April 29, 2025 | Wear Blue and White

World Wish Day is coming up on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, and we’re excited to be raising funds in support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation—an organization that brings hope and joy to children facing critical illnesses.

To take part, students and families can make a donation of any size and add their name to our special Wish Wall, showing our community’s shared support and kindness. Our fundraising goal is $500, and every contribution helps make a difference. Donations will be accepted all week and you can send cash to school or donate online. No donation is too small! On Tuesday, please wear blue and white to show your support.

But that’s not all! We’ll also be participating in the Community Craft Fair on Saturday, May 3, with a special table set up to raise even more funds. All proceeds from the event will go directly to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Let’s come together to share some magic and help make wishes come true!

Rotary Club Bike Tune Up | May 13, 2025

Mark your calendars! On Tuesday, May 13, 2025, the Rotary Club will be hosting a Bike Tune-Up event right here at school. This exciting initiative will take place during morning school hours in the school gym.

Students are encouraged to bring their bikes in for a free check-up and basic maintenance. Rotary Club volunteers will be on hand to ensure bikes are safe and ready to ride just in time for spring weather and Bike to School Week (June 2-6, 2025).

This is a great opportunity for students to learn about bike safety, maintenance, and healthy transportation habits—all while keeping their wheels in top shape. Don’t miss it!
